Therapeutic Massage
Each therapeutic session is tailored to your specific needs, combining several massage techniques for the most effective massage. A brief but detailed interview, as well as postural assessments, will help to identify which areas of the body to focus the massage. The session will begin with lighter flowing strokes and as your body relaxes, deeper pressure and therapeutic work will address specific areas of tension. Effective Myofascial release techniques help to alleviate muscle imbalances, relieving pain and improving postural issues. Therapeutic sessions focus on one to four areas, with integrative relaxation strokes for the whole body. Beneficial stretches recommended afterwards. 60 minutes per session, organic healing massage oils included. 90 minute sessions available upon request.
Craniosacral Therapy
This very gentle but profound therapy works with the body to release patterns of imbalance. Craniosacral Therapy (CST) promotes unwinding within the connective tissue to release underlying causes of tension, pain, and postural issues. CST can also relieve tension within the skull bones and jaw. To begin the session, your head is lightly held to tune into the rhythm of your cerebro-spinal fluid. Using your body's guidance, specific areas are then gently contacted to facilitate their release. Clients often remark that they feel very relaxed both during and after the session, with a sense of well-being similar to meditation. Effective for many conditions including chronic pain, headaches, fibromyalgia, and autoimmune conditions. Appropriate for anyone that has experienced trauma or who needs extra gentle work, beneficial for everyone. Please wear loose or stretchy comfortable clothing. 60 minutes per session.
TMJ Protocol
Support for those that suffer from Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) pain of the jaw. This massage protocol is very effective, as proven by a recent research project by integrative health practitioners. The protocol combines several massage modalities including 30 minutes of Swedish and therapeutic work to relax the upper body, 20 minutes of Craniosacral Therapy for the head and jaw, as well as 10 minutes of intra-oral work. Optional gentle massage inside of the mouth helps to release the jaw muscles using two fingers (with gloves). Experience the benefits of this profound protocol through specific therapeutic work. For the most effective results, please plan on scheduling weekly massage for at least 3, 60 minute sessions. Organic healing massage oils are included in the Swedish massage.
Cranio Combo Massage
Receive deeply nourishing support for your neck, shoulders, back, and whole nervous system with Craniosacral incorporated into Therapeutic massage. During this full body massage, the client will receive about 20 minutes of Craniosacral therapy while face up in the supine position. Gentle holding of the head and other areas facilitates muscle release and deep relaxation. During the remaining 40 minutes, therapeutic massage will facilitate pain relief and relax muscle tension. Usually the upper body is the focus of Cranio Combo Massage sessions, with brief work to the lower body. Requested areas to focus on will be discussed during the intake interview. This type of massage is especially supportive for people that work on computers, drive frequently, or for those that have headaches, neck, upper back, or arm tension. 60 minutes per session, organic healing massage oils included.
Lymph Combo Massage

During this full body massage, the client will receive about 20 minutes of very gentle Lymphatic massage while face up or supine. The Lymph massage is focused on the neck, or one or both arms. During the remaining 40 minutes, therapeutic work will facilitate pain relief and relax muscle tension. Usually the upper body is the focus of Lymph Combo Massage sessions, with brief work to the lower body. Requested areas to focus on will be discussed during the intake interview. An added benefit of Lymph massage is reduction in swelling (including for the face), and faster recovery time from surgery and illness. 60 minutes per session, organic healing massage oils included.
